Because our silk isn't heavily processed or treated with synthetic coatings, it stays soft and lustrous with gentle care.

• The Wash: Hand-wash gently in lukewarm water (30°C or below) for up to 5 minutes. To keep the silk soft and lustrous, avoid scrubbing, wringing or rubbing. Instead, gently submerge and lift the pillowcase, letting the water flow along the length of the fibres. Always use a pH-balanced, enzyme-free silk detergent. Avoid standard detergents, as their enzymes actively break down silk proteins.
• The Rinse: Rinse thoroughly in cool water until completely free of residue.
• The Drying: Gently press out excess water with a clean towel, then hang to dry, avoiding direct sunlight or harsh heat.
• The Finish: For an ultra-smooth finish, steam lightly from a few inches away or use the silk setting on your iron on the reverse side.
