I put off buying this for quite a while because it’s hand-wash only, and if I’m honest, I tend to avoid anything that feels high maintenance. In reality, it’s been much easier than I expected. It only takes 5 minutes to wash and hang, and I was pleased to find some straightforward care instructions included in the box.

The quality has impressed me. The silk has a wonderful texture and it stays cool throughout the night. The biggest difference for me has been my hair. It feels stronger, and unlike some silk and satin pillowcases I’ve used before, it doesn’t leave my hair looking or feeling greasy by the next morning.

I’m very pleased I decided to try it in the end. It’s one of those purchases I wish I’d made sooner.

There’s just something about the texture of these pillowcases. They’re incredibly smooth but they don’t feel 'slick' like satin. They have a fresh, cool presence that feels calming the moment you get into bed. My husband was a bit skeptical at first, but now he’s the one raving about them.
